The name UBHAR is synonymous with an ancient Omani city.
UBHAR is named after the fabled lost city of Ubar, located at the southern-end of Oman in the Rub Al Khali (the Empty Quarter), recognized and celebrated as the centre of the lucrative frankincense trade for nearly 5,000 years.
